Yahoo just did updates to the sites! Your old game demo is now stale and will not open games.
Doing this should get you back in. This works with XP and may work for older windows. Click on my PC ,disk drive C, open windows folder,next open Downloaded programs file. click on game you want to play to high lite it.delete it.Now go back to game,it will prompt you to download a demo,do so and page will open! If you don’t have XP or can not find the game file, Click on start,search,type in downloaded program files,open it then do the above.if thisDoesn’t work try going to tools,internet options,clear cookies

Look for "open source" software. Google helps. For example "open source C++".
Take a look at sourceforge.net , freshmeat, berlios, and tigris. They are central sites for open source projects and you might be able to find C++ code you can look at through them.

I would focus on defining the object relationship diagram first
For example look at the whole game as an object
So you may have one class for chess pieces
attributes could be
Name, color
methods could be
move, eliminate, constructor, destructor methods etc
one class for board
attributes may include location 2 dimensional array 8,8
chess pieces [pointers]

im stuck in the case "prints and pauper"! i cannot tie suspect claire thomas to crime scene in order to get warrant. does anyone know what to do ?????

Major Spoilers ahead!!!!!!!! Only read as far as you need to! You've been warned! This is a step by step on how to complete Prints and Pauper.
We have a victim, which seems to be a homeless bum. Or not quite... Go to the
morgue, and talk to Doc. You'll get the DNA of the guy. Now look at the
corpse. Look at the chest, left shoulder, left hand and stomach area. After
that, look at the pants next to his right hand, and use the swab on the stain.
Visit the lab, and give Greg the DNA and the stain of the pants you got. Use
the computer to compare the DNA of the guy, and the stain. They don't match.
Go talk to Brass. He'll give you two new locations; abandoned asylum and Le
Figaro. Go to the first place first.
A lot to discover here. Look at the blood on the floor. See the crack? Click
on it two times to find a larva. Pick it up. Now find the shoe print right of
the blood. Take a sample of it. More to the right is some pool. Use the swab
to get a sample. Then look above the pool, and use the swab on the paint. Turn
around, and look at the table. Find the fingerprint on the glass, then pick it
up. Behind Warrick is some more glass. Find the fingerprint, and then pick it
up. Now move forward. Look at the floor to find another footprint. Take a
sample, and look at the wheelchair ahead. The handle has a fingerprint, the
bar underneath the handle has a code (use mikrosil on it), and the seat of the
wheelchair has a code, the UV will spot.
Go to the restaurant, and talk to the owner. After that, go to the alley and
look at the top of the fence to find some cloth. Look in the dumpster. Pick up
the receipts (3 of them), and look at the meat, in the top right corner. Zoom
in on it with your scope, and you'll find powder. Use adhesive specimen
mount to get that.
Give Greg all the stuff in the lab (the glass will come later). Compare the
muddy footprint with code 5923. Then use the microscope, and compare the
blowfly with a blowfly of 28 hours.
Talk to Doc in the morgue for some more information. Now go to Brass to get
a new location; the hangout. Also let him trace the wheelchair number and
get a warrant to get the credit card number from the owner of the restaurant.
Head to the hangout first, and pick up the notepad. Then look at the table on
the right, and find the print on the can. Pick the can up. Move to the pool
table, and pick up the cigarette in the ashtray.
Go to the restaurant, and get some info about the credit card. Give all the
stuff to Greg, and then use the computer to find out the owner of the credit-
card. Go there, and ask what you can. Go to the restaurant, and ask about
the woman (Clair Thomas).
Head to the lab again, and combine the fingerprints of the glass, then
combine those with the fingerprint of the can. Voila. Look it up in the
computer and compare it to Jackson, Lane.
You got the pawn shop a bit earlier from Greg, so go there. Look at the sign.
Seems they are closed. Move back, and look at the cigarette on the floor. Pick
it up. Then look at the trash can, and pick up the note.
Once again, go to Greg. Give the stuff, and compare the 2 cigarettes with each
other. Go back to the pawn shop, and look at the right side of the screen.
Pick up the ring, and look at the jacket. Pick up the hair, then pick up the
jacket.
Lab once again. Give him the stuff and then compare the hair you found with
the Singapore cat. Talk to Doc in the morgue about how tall the man was, and
what size his ring was. Then to go Brass to find out about the cat. Go to
the condo, and ask about the cat.
First head to the pawn shop, and talk to the man. Then go ask for warrant for
the condo. Look around the place. Look at the box first. Then look at the
painting and zoom in on the tie. The fireplace has a larva and a note, and
finally, the box has some hair.
Get a warrant for Markus van der Hellen. You'll get his DNA and fingerprints,
but it doesn't match the DNA of the stain, or the fingerprint of the one
on the wheelchair (check it out though).
Back to the lab. Give the stuff you found. Compare the hair you found in the
condo with the hair on the jacket. It's a match. Then compare the DNA of the
larva with the victim's DNA. Voila.
Let's get Claire in the house. Get a warrant for her, and ask her the
questions. This'll get you her fingerprint and DNA. Now let's finish this
case. Compare her fingerprint with the one on the wheelchair, and the DNA of
the stain. Get her back, and the mystery is solved.

1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box.once
in room "expand" it to see chat area.you only see half of cards but you can still play.

Reply:i had this issue once, with warcraft. it turned out to be that i needed the latest drivers from my video card. when i reinstalled windows i lost the drivers i had. try going to the manufacturers website and downloading the drivers again, and reinstalling them, it should work ok then

Crouch should have come on WAY earlier WTF was he doing on the bench anyway?. The guy scores goals, and creates havoc with his height.

My g/f is scared to go to a ravens game with me b/c "baltimore is a bad place" how can she get over her fear?
Ok I got tickets to a Baltimore Ravens game for a graduation present and I want to take my girlfriend but she is really scared of alot of things (flying,boats,bad areas,etc) so she may not go... How can I help her get over her fears?
My g/f is scared to go to a ravens game with me b/c "baltimore is a bad place" how can she get over her fear?
I grew up in Baltimore and where the stadium is its all tourist friendly and cops abound. She really should not fear it but if you folks are from a small town she may be overwhelmed. I just took my 15 year old son last year to my Baltimore and he was scared at first, since he has grown up in Amish land Central PA, and doesn't have a clue about big cities, but he became more comfortable as I explained that what he was seeing was mainly being built when I was his age. And heck Camden Park was being built when I moved to PA!
Tell your girlfriend to be grateful it isn't old Memorial Stadium and you guys aren't going to a colts game or the first when NFL football returned to Baltimore!!!!
And if all this advice doesn't change her mind forget it and email me and I'll meet you at M%26amp;T Stadium and enjoy the game with you! J/K LOL

I grant you-- as far as I'm concerned, all cities suck and I avoid them anyway.

How do you play a dice game called L C R?
LCR - the new game that everyone's getting hooked on.
So simple, kids love it. So contagious and fast-paced, adults grab-up LCR for themselves! To start the game, you need three LCR cubes, at least three players, and three chips for each player. Coins can be used in place of chips for additional players. After determining which player starts the game, the first player rolls the three cubes. The number of L's, C's, R's, or DOTS rolled dictate where the player's chips go.
The number of L's indicates the amount of chips to be passed to the player on the left.
The number of R's indicates the amount of chips to be passed to the player on the right.
The number of C's indicates the amount of chips to be placed in the center or "pot".
The DOTS are neutral and players neither pass nor place chips in the pot for any DOTS rolled.

2. Don't try to program right away, sit and look at the rules that the game of life uses. Depends if your into role playing games. I play oblivion on my xbox360 and its a REALLY REALLY good game. Lots of stuff to do. Can keep you busy for months seriously. And the quests are really interesting aswell.
Lots to explore aswell.
Im not sure how the game will be like on pc but i guess the controls will be a bit harder to use.

I have discovered that the Nintendo DS Lite has made the original DS obsolete. So accordingly they Nintendo company has made it so that I cannot use (or even find) a A/C adapter battery charger made for a DS. AND I cannot, ironically, use one of these made for a DS Lite!

My Brother Has a Video Game Addiction Need Help!! =C?
This has been going on for his whole life, but nobody knows what to do about it. My family likes to shrug it off like its just him or its what he does, and tries to look past it and forget about it, but its been recently bothering me alot!
I just returned home for a couple of weeks to vist my family. My brother is the same old same old, but more then ever I'm seeing a video game addiction. He stays in his room and plays WOW all the time and never leaves. He eats his supper in the room apart from the family. He is 21 yrs old, and has lived with my family in a new home in a new province for 2 years and has made no friends. He has never been kissed or never has had girlfriend. Since I've been home, he has calls in sick and then goes to work and falls a sleep on his desk, or once he fainted.(depression medication-taken irregualrly) He eats irregualrly too, and eats lots of junk food.
Please Help, my parnets don't know what to do espicially since he is older. PLEASE HELP And be nice

Craps Game Source Code in C++?
My problem is I really suck at getting started. We have to use a pointer for the Player class and we have to input/output each player's (up to 10) name, balance, and how much they gained by playing the game (i.e their original balance + total winnings) from/into a txt file. I already know the rules of the game and all that because we did a simpler version of it already, I just dont get how to set up all the classes and how to change the Player class into a pointer type. HELP if you can!

So, you don't have to put it into a pointer, and pointer holds an ADDRESS. So, declare an array of pointers.
then use new to create your "players".

Your laptop is ok.
If you are on windows vista then it alone hogs up a lot of system power. Try lowering down the graphic settings it ll help in reducing the lag.

My boyfriend and I bought new Toshiba laptops at the beginning of summer and he tried to put his C%26amp;C The First Decade game onto it. It works...to an extent. He used a patch for it. If you go to the C%26amp;C website you might find a patch that will fx your problem, if not, its because Vista has a lot of bugs in it and not many programs are compatible with it. Its quite annoying really and the only thing left for you to do is put it onto a computer that runs Windows XP or lower. I don't reccomend downgrading your laptop to XP because all the software inside your laptop like the DuoCore processor is made specifically for Vista and won't run otherwise.

I usually use a "Disc Dr" when my girls have gotten ahold of and scratched up a DVD or Game and it works really well. It's not so great for discs that are really badly scratched.

Put shaving cream on finger and rub gently in damaged area
Put little drops about the size of your finger nail all around the disc
Rub in with finger
Use towel to remove shaving cream

I'll be visiting DC and was wondering what the best way to travel between DC and Baltimore (Camden) would be? Do I have options that will take me straight to the park? and are there any options that would run late after a night game to get me back to DC? Also, I may be traveling alone, so the safest for a female!!

I felt very safe when we left because there was such a crowd all headed to the same place, then I was able to get into my car and lock the doors! And the roads out of Baltimore weren't bad that late at night, at all.

1) The Colts have not lost a single game this season. At home, they are a perfect 8-0. I don't want to hear that bullshit about how Larry Johnson single - handedly destroying the Colts. It's not going to happen at home.
2) Bob Sanders is back - Sanders, the Colts Pro-Bowl caliber safety is coming back from injury and is undoubtedly the heart of the Indy defense when healthy. Tony Dungy calls Sanders the "eraser" for turning seemingly long rushing gains into miniscule rushes of 1 or 2 yards. With Sanders back, this defense is going to look much tougher.
3) The Colts are expected to lose, and that will certainly raise their motivation to play well. Everywhere I have looked, I have seen the Chiefs as the clear favorite. With being so underrated, the Colts could become a potentially dangerous dark horse playoff team.
4) The Colts offense - Peyton Manning and Co. Nothing more needs to be said. It is highly unlikely that the Chiefs defense will be able to stop this ***-Kicking offense.
5) Larry Johnson and the rest of the Chiefs - This is an overrated team that has dried itself up just in making the playoffs. There is nothing left in the tank, because they have spent so much of their energy just making the playoffs and Johnson's TD numbers have gone down.

I'm going to college in the fall and am taking game programming classes and working on side projects. I am kinda new to the programming stuff and need all the help I can get.

Logical programming itself doesn't need much resource.
Any decent computer will do, and most of the college will provide lab computers where you can develop your projects. If you are going for graphical programming, then you'll need a much faster one with a high end graphic card, depending on how much 3D stuffs you are going to include in your project.
Also, remember that if you are in a college, most of your projects will more likely to run on school's server, so you don't even need a powerful computer, just a strong Internet connection to the server.
Here's a basic spec for normal programmer,
Pentium 4 3.2GHz or higher (Core 2 Duo, Quad Core, etc)
1GB RAM
80GB (or 40GB if you are not into downloading music. More if you want movies)
128MB GeForce 7800? (or higher) or Graphic card or some other equivalent of Radeon.
Any other add ons you want.

If your going to do not only the C++ coding but the Design as well(3d animations, skins, ect...) I would look into purchasing a MAC. MAC's are the most powerfull multimedia OS out there, its what its built for. All proffesionals use MAC's for 3d/2d designing.

Tiger played really well all week. He hit a lot of fairways and a lot of greens. Yesterday, unfortunately, his putter abandoned him. During the first 3 days, he averaged around 26 putts/round. Yesterday, he needed 33 putts. In fact, I can almost guarantee that, as he was finishing his round yesterday, he was thinking that he should have won the tournament by about 4-5 shots.
Reply:Tiger had a lot on his mind, but he just didn't get it done with his putting. I really hate to say this, but I'm sure some of the other pros didn't mind him be unfocused.

Milan is the best and ronaldo still has it (Thank God) i was so worried too...Hope we could get Henry and Ronaldinho ....

Milan r the best they played a very good game but Milan needs some good defenders they have good strikers like Gila and Ric Oliveira and for sure the Phenomena Ronaldo and great midfeilders like the golden boy Ricky kaka , Gourcuff, Pirlo , Gatusso ,Marek,..... but in the defence i doubt it really Milan is in need for a good defence that what lacks Milan now look at Siena game when ever Milan scores a goal Siena scores the tie after 2 or 3 minutes and really when Maccarone scored the third goal in the 90th minute i lost my temper and thought it was over but thanx god Gourcuff's corner and Ambrossini's goal saved Milan in the 4th minute of the additional time and saved 3 points as well...
