i need to get C-3P0 across the lava river in the game ,lego star wars; The complete saga

I am on the game lego star wars ;the complete saga and need help to get C-3P0 across the lava river, help?
According to my 9 yr old son (who has completely solved this game),


1) Have Anakin use the force on the gear; which will turn the floor


2) Switch to C3PO and walk him onto the floor


3) Switch back to Anakin %26amp; use the force to turn the gear two more times


4) Turn Anakin around to the other gear %26amp; use the force on that one 1 time


5) Switch back to C3PO and walk him onto that floor


6) Switch back to Anakin %26amp; use the force on the gear 2 more times


7) Switch to C3PO and walk across
