I am thinking of buying world of warcraft, but i dont know if i should buy the origonal game or The burning crusade first?

You do need to buy World of Warcraft first.





However if you think you will want the Burning Crusade expansion too, I recommend buying the World of Warcraft Battlechest. It comes with both games and the Brady game guides for both.
Reply:You should start out by buying the original WoW. "Burning Crusade" is an upgrade to the original, so buying BC by itself won't do much good!

Reply:Burning Crusade is just an expansion... an addition to the game... if you want to play that addition of the game, you need the expansion. You need to buy 'the original' to play the game.
Reply:If you want to start as one of the "new" races (not originally introduced with WoW), I believe you will need to purchase The Burning Crusade. If you want to start with a traditional race, go for the old version and upgrade when you get near 60.
