Travel from D.C. to an Orioles game?

I'll be visiting DC and was wondering what the best way to travel between DC and Baltimore (Camden) would be? Do I have options that will take me straight to the park? and are there any options that would run late after a night game to get me back to DC? Also, I may be traveling alone, so the safest for a female!!





Any help would be appreciated!!

When I did this a couple of years ago, there weren't any public transport methods available. That's of course for the day and time we were looking for, doesn't mean there might not be some now. However, since you are travelling as a single female, I would recommend driving and parking in one of the garages that are right by the stadium. I felt very safe when we left because there was such a crowd all headed to the same place, then I was able to get into my car and lock the doors! And the roads out of Baltimore weren't bad that late at night, at all.
Reply:Take the MARC train from Union Station in DC. It stops right at Camden Yards in front of the stadium and it runs late on game nights, so you'll definitely be able to catch it on the way home. I've never done it alone, but I think it's really safe--there are always tons of baseball fans on the train that runs after the game and very few other people. Good luck!
Reply:Take MD 295 (B-W Pkwy//Russell St.) to downtown Baltimore. Continue onto Russell Street and turn Right onto Lee Street for stadium permit lots. For public parking, turn right onto Hamburg St. just after Ravens Stadium and follow signs for Lots F, G, H. or continue on Russell Street and turn right on to Pratt Street to parking garages and lots in the city.





Alternate: Take I-95 North towards Baltimore. For public parking, take 395 North (Exit 53) and keep Left at the split to enter downtown. Continue north on Howard Street to Pratt or Lombard for various public parking garages in the downtown area. For the stadium entrance and permit lots, take Russell St. North (Exit 52) and turn Right onto Lee Street for access to A, B/C, East or North permit lots.
