I would like to see wyhat has been done with red alert 2 or genrals/zero hour. But, I would like to see it as a world war. you start out as whatever choice of 10 countries and through the missions or boards, you take over or get taken over, but the whole world.
Your Great idea for a new C%26amp;C PC game?
it is ok Report It
Reply:I guess I was one of the few that thought the C%26amp;C FPS Renegade was a good thought. I'd like to see something where you conducted more of a FPS/Sim kind of thing. With Tiberium Sun bringing Mechs and other advanced vehicles into the franchise I think they could get away with having a mission based RPG style game where you would pilot all kinds of things from the franchise and as you appropriated more tech throughout the game you get better options for your unit/army.
Start each mission out in the briefing room, but rather than just getting orders you get to figure out what units to take to support your team/army. Say you have one dropship that can bring down 25 tons of equipment, do you bring two tanks or several units of foot soldiers? You can use clout (cash/reputation) to get more units or to coerce the engineers/brass to put in an infrastructure to support you and your team.
Then when you have the map and you have your teams you tell them where to drop and what tactics they are to use, then you hop in your VTOL/Gear/Buggy/etc... and get in the mission, able to order commands from time to time. I haven't seen many large scale FPSs where you are one of a small army out there, if any exits.
When you win you get more rep/promotion/credits/etc... and you can upgrade your unit/army.
They just released C%26amp;C3 though, doubt they are gonna develop something like this anytime soon.
