How do i save the game on a sega emulator?i'm using ''KEGA 0.04b c''.?

i play genghis khan 2 clan of the grey wolf on the sega emulator mentioned in the question above(KEGA 0.04b c),it is such a long game that ive never been able to complete it.i tried saving it by the following method but it didnt work:1)file2)save state as


after this i name the save file and bla bla bla.when i load it it gets stuck.what do i do?(p.s)(can anyone tell me who is the world's richest man?)
