i just connected a 1360x768 tv monitor to my computer, which is a pretty weird resolution for a widescreen. for some software or games my computer loads half way and goes back to the desktop. i heard there is a way to edit the properties of launch icons to make them manually load with certain resolutions, can someone help me out?

what is your graphic card?
if it ATI graphic card, install an ATI tray tool which include the setting of TV out.
in ATI tray tool you can easily customize TV out resolution like size resolution, brightness, contrast, color and hertz setting to make perfectly resolution.
